I loved this book, until the last twenty pages I just loved it! Then KABOOM the ending was HORRIBLE! Just HORRIBLE, I couldn’t stand it. Not horrible in the Wuthering Heights way, like omg that’s horrible but poetic and perfect, no just plain HORRIBLE. I suppose it fit with Hamlet but it just turned my insides. There was no mother/son action in this book though thank god, if you don’t understand this reference go rent Hamlet (the old one).

In hindsight the ending, although ghastly, perhaps was reminiscent of Hamlet in that sick poetic way. So if you want to give it a chance, you might enjoy it. I don’t like the ending still but just for the first half it may be worth the read.
